The Amazing Cembranoids in Raw Tobacco

Cembranoids have been isolated from the tobacco plant. Raw tobacco cembranoids have been reported to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis in vitro.  What does this mean? Cembranoids might help fight inflammation that can cause harm to the body. Drugs such as aspirin prevent the synthesis of prostaglandin and thus reduce pain and inflammation. Cembranoids from raw tobacco will be used to help inflammation.

Inflammation, a process meant to heal, can often become a danger; chronic inflammation causes heart attacks, stroke – and even cancer.

Dr. David M. Marquis, DC, DACBN: Inflammation controls our lives. Have you or a loved one dealt with pain, obesity, ADD/ADHD, peripheral neuropathy, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, migraines, thyroid issues, dental issues, or cancer? If you answered yes to any of these disorders you are dealing with inflammation.

There have been cembranoids found in raw tobacco that inhibit the effects of nicotine. The cembranoids prevent the nicotine effect. Those who have been addicted to cigarettes may not be addicted to raw tobacco which contains cembranoids that counteract nicotine's effect. It is being discovered that raw tobacco will help those already addicted to smoking, chewing, and snuffing.

"Alcohol and nicotine are often co-abused. As many as 80–95% of alcoholics are also smokers, suggesting that ethanol and nicotine, the primary addictive component of tobacco smoke, may functionally interact in the central nervous system and/or share a common mechanism of action."

THE CURE FOR CIGARETTE ADDICTION IS BEING FOUND IN RAW TOBACCO

Cembranoids may very well be the antidote that is found in raw tobacco that will help with addiction that is caused by using flue-cured tobacco or tobacco produced products. In the raw tobacco there is a cure for addiction to cigarettes that scientists are now exploring.

Rye Juice

I planted some rye grass. It grows as fast as wheat. I plan on juicing in a few more days. I'm not really into growing in trays. I like to scatter the seed in a bare spot and then harvest it with a pair of scissors.

https://www.organicfacts.net/health-benefits/cereal/rye.html

Juicing and smoothies is the backbone of my health regime. Eating fruits and vegetables are pure pleasure food. If I moved to a new place, I would first grow an herb garden and then a regular garden along with some fruit trees. If you don't have time for a garden, grow in buckets.

Bug Solution: The Net

I got this netting at a consignment store for $5.00. It is going to solve my insect problems. When growing lettuce the bugs like my lettuce plants as much as I do. Small seedlings do not have a chance with grasshoppers.  With the net in place they are protected at least till they get larger and stronger.

They Came in the Night

I often wonder why lettuce disappears in the night before they have a chance to grow. INSECTS!

This bucket was filled with lettuce sprouts until this morning. They are gone. I decided to put a fine net over the bucket. It will let light shine through but keep the insects out. I'll be showing it to you. I bought some netting today.

My cilantro is looking well. It is about time to make Salsa Verde.

Bucket Plant Support and Bitter Melon

Two problems I fixed today. First was insects making homes in the bottom holes of my buckets. I saw termites and ants. I sat my buckets in another bucket that had a piece of brick placed inside. The brick helps in removing the bucket if I need to. When the plant gets older and makes enough roots that it protrudes through the bottom holes then I could set the bucket in a permanent place without using a second bucket.

Support sticks help spindly plants. Add two sticks on each side of the plant. Use twine in a figure eight. This support is especially handy for tobacco. As I harvest the young leaves, it won't fall over from being top-heavy.

Bitter Melon

I found this bitter melon in the Korean store the other day. I rescued it from their garbage. They didn't mind giving me one. I harvested the seeds for next year. The seeds are drying on a paper plate before I store them away for next year.

Eat Your Greens

Don't get all upset because greens taste bad. The bitter your greens, the better it is. I was passing by my red bud  tree the other day and wondered, could I eat that? With this modern age we can do a search in our tablet/phone or computer and get the answer. The answer is yes. People eat the flowers, bark, beans, and young leaves of the red bud tree. I wouldn't put the leaves in a smoothie, but you could get some juice out of them.

My philosophy is simple, do what average person doesn't do and you'll have above average results. With a little wisdom you might extend your life and look better than the average person.

At Wendy's in Springfield Missouri they make the best salads. Today I had my favorite salad called BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad. It is the best of the best.

Today was Pirates' Day in many places. I hope you don't mind, I got you a card.

For variety in life try your local Seoul Korean store. You can find all kinds of different things like different varieties of rice. I went there to pick up a bag of mung beans. I like to add mung bean sprouts to my cooking.

At the health food store, hemp is catching on. I tried some hemp seeds in a salad and I was impressed. They were great. They also have protein powder made out of hemp. Mark this down, in recent days ahead, you will see tobacco protein powder at health food stores.

https://www.princeton.edu/~ota/disk3/1983/8315/831507.PDF

Although hemp is an expensive product, look for some free samples. The store I go to always have samples.

Take care and try a red bud tree leaf. The tree is from the bean family and is not toxic. I'm going to add a few leaves to my next batch of juice.

How is Your Mid?

I think the inner core is the most important part to exercise. I'm not talking only about abs. The whole region in front, on the sides, and in the back of your mid section. We also should be reducing our weight for a healthy mid. Men mostly have problem with  fat in their mid-section, however, women tend to have more fat in their hips and thighs.

A FEAR TACTIC:

I've heard of so many cases of people with irritable bowel syndrome, crohn's disease, and colitis disease. Once you start having problems, it is almost impossible to fix things. I know someone close to  me who has diarrhea for 12 years. You literally starve to death, not being able to assimilate your food. People with colon problems must learn to wear diapers around the clock.

IS THIS YOUR EXCUSE: I HATE TO EXERCISE?

Everyone hates exercise. I've seen ex-athletes that were gung-ho to workout in their youth but in their later years, they let everything go. When you do that, death will be knocking at your door.

I hate the look of old age. The drawn out tired look, grayish, flabby, dry and wrinkled skin, overweightness, and a blank stare. You need to start taking care of yourself while you still have strength to start SELF CARE. Learn all you can about nutrition and then excel in doing faithful exercise.

Beware not to neglect nutrition. I have seen older muscle builders that now have varicose veins where there muscle used to be. They pumped up alright in their youth but now in their sixties, their veins had exploded with ugliness. Exercise without proper nutrition will harm you more than help you.

BECOME SEXY

Women like men who have a six-pack but the same truth applies to men who find that a women with a six-pack are sexy. I'm sixty and I have the best looking six-pack around. You just can't see it due to the fat that is protecting them. Fat is the insulation that needs to go in order to see the real beauty beneath its layers. I'm working on my fat, but it is hard to get it to leave.

Whenever you exercise do isometrics on your mid section. Force your mid section to contract and then rest it a while. When you go around doing your daily chores you can continue to contract it during the day. Keep your mid-section tight most of the time unless you are planning on joining a beer guzzling bowling team. Then it doesn't matter.

Juiceman Jr

I picked up this Juiceman Jr for $2.00. It is obsolete but this one is complete and works. A lot of merchandise you buy new anymore at stores becomes obsolete in a short time. It doesn't matter about the warranty. When a company goes out of business they don't have to handle repairs anymore and then they can start up again under a new name or transfer their assets to another company. This is my own theory but to me it makes sense.

I remember buying a pizza cooker that blew its resistor due to heat related issues. The company went out of business. I bought some expensive hard drives that failed and they too went out of business. The hard drive company had many legal actions but I never received any money.

The company that made my hand cranked juicer went out of business and then another company in Korea began making the same exact model. How convenient that these companies can go out of business and then start up again under a new name.

You should return anything defective you buy at the original store. If it breaks and you can't fix it, you might as well throw it away. It is not worth the hassle or aggravation in trying  to get things repaired.

It may all be in my mind  but the outcome of what they do is usually constant, the customer always gets screwed.

The Perfect Tomato

The perfect tomato is not easy to come by. When you come across one, you know instantly you have a prize winner.

Here are the signs:

1. No woodiness especially in the middle of the tomato. The perfect tomato is juicy all the way through.

2. The eight of an inch around the edges of the tomato is not discolored. Bugs like the stink bug will suck your precious tomatoes and cause the skin to be blotched.

3. The easy one is that there are no holes in the tomato. There are many worms that wait for the chance to eat holes in your tomato. They won't stop at the leaves. They love the fruit.

4. The perfect tomato has a uniform shape. It will not have deformity. Catfacing is a deformity that occurs during the formation of the flower and is on the blossom-end of the tomato. It can be caused by cold temperatures during flowering, high nitrogen fertilization, or improper pruning.

5. No splits on the skins or excessive cracking. This can happen due to abnormal conditions that causes over-watering, over-feeding with fertilizer,  extreme temperatures, and sometimes it is genetic.

There are a multitude of other problems that can affect your tomatoes. You are blessed if you happen to get and eat a perfect tomato. With all the potential problems that await your plants it is amazing that we ever get one.

Kale, Goji, and Tobacco (adult content not suitable for children)

I'm into smoothies and juicing. Sometimes you'll find specials on produce like Kale that people don't buy. Many shopper do not recognize its value.

Kale is considered by many to be the world's healthiest food.

http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=38

I think I'll grow some next year.  I like to use the leaves (not the stems) in my smoothie.

Warning, kids or immature adults might justify themselves in their smoking habits due to the benefits of raw tobacco.

I've started taking a half of a small leaf of young tobacco plant (raw leaf, Virginia Gold heirloom) in my juice. I take it once a day. It revs up my old system in the morning. It's better than coffee and a lot healthier. My tobacco has no insecticides. Never smoke or chew cured tobacco or eat too much raw tobacco leaves. It is an alkaloid that is potentially poisonous. My last warning is that tobacco can raise your blood pressure. If you have a weak heart or are just unhealthy, do not use any tobacco products.

http://www.eflanger.com/pipes/health-tobacco.htm

This is going to be my last post on tobacco. People have all kinds of strange ideas when it comes to using tobacco. Look at this site:

God never intended us to be smokers or we would be able to eat and live on smoke. It is unnatural and should be banned. If you have to smoke it, then you have crossed the line from any possible health benefits to a state of unnatural addiction that leads to illness and bodily corruption.

I started growing goji berries. It is another health food plant that would be great in smoothies. They take a few years to mature. I'm growing mine in pots.

http://thehealthyeatingsite.com/the-health-benefits-of-goji-berries/

It is interesting to note that a lot of plants contains poisons. Moderation is the key to eating any plant. The real poisons in society are manufactured foods like white buns and cupcakes. When I shop it is more like, what poison should I choose today. I know what, I'll eat some doughnuts with a cup of insecticidal tea (just kidding).

We all live in a crazy world where bad is good and good is bad. The ignorant perish due to lack of knowledge and sometime the knowledgeable die due to an act of God (a disaster out of their control).

In this world you may not want to go to extremes in your eating habits. It all depends on how long you want to live and are you willing to fight for health. We all should want to live a long healthy life, but sometimes it is not possible. We are limited by things out of our control.

It Was a Cool Day in Missouri

I'd rather have been outdoors today, but spent most of my day indoors. I needed more tortillas. Thin tortillas made out of sprouted wheat will help a person loose weight by not eating that much bread.

I'm starting to perfect my techniques. After my grain has sprouted, I rinse it one last time and drain it. I then put it in my refrigerator for two days with the open screen lids. In two days the sprouts are dry and that is when I do the next step of using a food processor.

When the food processor starts rolling up the dough is when the dough is ready. I only put in about a cup or less at a time. I do not want to overtax my food processor and burn out its motor.

This dough was so perfect that I did not need to add more flour.

I added a little yeast from my molasses and water jar that previously had yeast added to it. It became my perpetual yeast starter. It saves from buying yeast packets. I keep it in my fridge until I need it. If it gets low, I add more water and molasses. I always store it with a lid and then remove the lid and warm it up when I need some yeast.

I had so much dough that I made a calzone later that evening. I tasted so good.

The other day, I spent most of my early morning gathering herbs and marigold flowers for juicing. Did you know that a lot of flowers are edible? I made a ten day supply of frozen juice cubes.

Tobacco leaves might be the next new health food craze. It can be dangerous by using too much but it is deserving of research.

One of my heirloom pumpkin plants did not have any pumpkins. At least that is what I thought until I found one hanging in the weeds.

My watermelons are growing but will they mature in time before the frost.

I didn't think this pepper plant would ever grow. It was designed for the drought but we got rain and nearly rotted it at its roots. Later this year the drought did come. My little pepper took off in growth.

Are Smoothies Good For You?

http://nutritionfacts.org/video/are-green-smoothies-good-for-you/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=are-green-smoothies-good-for-you&utm_source=NutritionFacts.org&utm_campaign=dd1301fc56-RSS_VIDEO_DAILY&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_40f9e497d1-dd1301fc56-23575833

Very well done video. The link was given to me by my brother John. He drinks a lot of  smoothies. It shows by his great health. I remember the time I tested his blood sugar. He is not diabetic and does not have a problem with being overweight. John if you are out there send me your blood pressure readings, weight, ect. (Body Stats) for research. With your stats I'll have a goal; something to aim for.

The only suggestion I would make about smoothies is choose the vegetables that are organic.

Body stats are confusing. When I eat nothing, my blood pressure is real low. If I eat something and take a reading it goes higher. When taking your blood pressure you should rest a few moments before taking it. After walking to the machine, your blood pressure will be higher than a resting measurement.

I remember years ago a doctor said that I had high blood pressure. I said, "That's normal, I get scared everytime I'm in the doctors office. My blood pressure is still not perfect but it is coming down. A change in diet does affect our blood pressure. Smooth out your blood pressure readings by drinking plenty of smoothies. Don't spike it by eating a lot of processed foods.

Future Projects

I've started growing some goji berry plants. In three years they should have some berries. I'll have to decide whether I want them in a bucket or in the ground.

These are some of my tobacco plants.

http://sorendreier.com/tobacco-a-forgotten-healing-plant/

Don't grow tobacco and use it if you don't know the toxicity levels of nicotine. One ingested cigarette is known to kill a child. My plants are for research not for pleasure.

My watermelon in the bucket (with no bottom) has little melons already.

I saw that a mole made a run and it headed towards my healthy watermelon plant. Moles know when it is time to kill the roots of a garden plant. However, this mole got confused when the roots of my watermelon were contained mostly in the bucket. The run stopped at the bucket and went no further.

One last note. If you are having troubles in gardening it might be due to moles or gophers. You have to kill them. Your plants will die in a day after they disturb their roots. I've had attacks on my backyard tomatoes from moles and my plants show it. One of my tomato plant is coming back but the season is now over.

Don't Call Them Ugly

A gardener is not a success until he or she grows the most beautiful produce. In our society, beauty is in and ugliness is ignored. I like the good, bad, and the ugly when it comes to garden vegetables.

This is my plate of vegetables that most would call undesirable.  Splits on top of a tomato and spots made by stink bugs. The carrots have more legs than I would desire. They remind me of the ginseng root. When the roots look like a body, it is suppose to be good for your whole being.

It was not their fault that they do not make it to the hall of fame of vegetable photographs. Bless their little fibrous hearts. They tried their best and that's good enough for me. I'll use them in one of my dishes and no one will know the better.

Hay Bucket Beautification

Have some fun with your buckets. Instead of looking like a junk man with a yard full of white ugly buckets become creative.

This bucket will contain gourmet lettuce. I have a lid on it loosely in order to help with germination.

This pepper plant is more like a little bonsai tree. It was root bound so I removed it from its bucket and made larger one inch holes at the bottom of the bucket and also added more hay and soil. It turned green over night.

I have it setting in a pool. But I now hate the pool idea. It is a breeding ground for mosquito. I think I prefer a bucket in a bucket of partially filled water or perhaps I'll use a drip system. I might use my pools for growing rice. There is a rice you can buy that grows in the USA.
