Cembranoids have been isolated from the tobacco plant. Raw tobacco
cembranoids have been reported to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis in vitro. What does this mean? Cembranoids might help
fight inflammation that can cause harm to the body. Drugs such as aspirin
prevent the synthesis of prostaglandin and thus reduce pain and inflammation. Cembranoids from raw tobacco will be used to help inflammation.
