I started cooking my squash in a pan with a lid. By adding a little onion, salt, butter, and pepper I get the most delicious juice. It tastes a lot like potato soup. Drink the juice and eat the vegetables is my motto. Don't waste a thing.
A friend gave us some heirloom vegetables. We will not only eat them but also save the seeds. Have you ever heard of chocolate tomatoes or lemon cucumber? I can't wait to taste them.
