It is a good time to start planning on what seeds you want to save. For Instance, pick some old marigold blossoms and save the seeds.
I saved some sweet corn. This sweet corn doesn't grow very tall and is quick to harvest.
Some seeds are from hybrid plants. But who cares? I read somewhere that you can save any kind of seeds and they will grow. If the plant produces a seed and I like the plant, I'll save it.
If the seeds seem a little moist, let them dry out a little longer. I was about to seal up my corn when I decided to let them air dry a little longer. You can tell just by feeling them that the seeds were not completely dry.
